Having come so very far
From where I used to live
Seeking truths I longed to hear
That only You could give.
Seeing You more clearly now
As all around grows dim
And hearing Your voice stronger
As You gently call me in
My heart becomes a blazing star
This vessel can’t contain
Light drawn to light –all else is dust
And only You remain
It truly was my heart’s desire
To know as I am known
Do I now have all the answers...?
It doesn’t matter – I am home
The poem is by my talented daughter sandra and the pictureof an Irish cottage Rob brought home from Ireland.
ReplyDeleteI remember the feeling of coming home when I came to know Jesus Val
I particularly like the line, "It doesn't matter," for it won't. Tell your daughter that she has my sincere appreciation for an excellent poem.
ReplyDeleteSandra wrote beautifully, right from her lovely heart.. I love the picture you put with it, it suits and looks so homely. He is, the truth the life and the way. xxx
ReplyDelete"To know as I am known," my hearts cry.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your whole family, Geoff.
